The Gay Gospel
 Last week, Bob Jones University, which is located less than a half-mile from our Radio Studio, was the target of a protest by a homosexual activist group called “Soulforce”.
This group has organized a number of protests throughout the country at 32 Christian colleges and universities that do not allow homosexual students to attend.
During the protest we went down to BJU to interview some of the protesters. We were a bit surprised by the level of organization that the group displayed. They arrived on a large tour bus (with colorful graphics and the words “Faith Forward” written in large letters on the side) and assembled quietly in front of the school, holding open Bibles and praying. At one point during the demonstration they sent three protesters on to the University property, knowing full well that they would be arrested, while the rest of the group maintained their silent stance in front of the school.
There was no shouting or offensive banners or insulting behavior. It was obvious that they had scripted the protest in a way that they felt would be most effective, especially when viewed through the lens or the local media outlets.
We had the opportunity to interview a number of the activists and what was most remarkable about the interviews was the way that they answered questions related to what the Scriptures says about homosexuality.
There are about 7 passages of Scripture that directly address the subject of homosexuality that we focused on and for each one of these passages the person interviewed held the same interpretation (definitely not one that we would agree with, but one that was consistent with the other activists that we interviewed).
Again, it was quite apparent that they had been well trained in how to answers these questions in a way that was favorable to homosexual behavior. Further still there appeared to be an actual Pro-Gay Theology held and promoted by the activist group.
On today’s “Calling For Truth” Radio Program, we will examine these texts and expose the way in which the homosexual activist community has been trained to respond to these passages of Scripture. Our special guest today will be Joe Dallas, Founder and Director of Genesis Counseling and Author of the book, “The Gay Gospel – How Pro-Gay Activists Misread the Bible”.
